Superfantastico to the rescue!
We are in the process of potty training. It’s early days so I promised Amelia a little surprise if she complied. After a fabulous effort I had to quickly rummage through a draw to find something suitably surprising. Luckily I found a packet of Superfantastico buttons — one which was absolutely perfect for such an occasion. Can you guess which one?
And as promised, here is the gallery of prints. Big-P and I are still working on the online payment facility — and rather than put it up tonight full of mistakes and disasters I think I will finish it when I can think straight. Soon!
Also, just to let you know that if you are going down to see the show at Hudson, the store is open from Monday to Sunday, 11am to 5.30pm.
Good luck with potty training. I’m going to be starting that soon with my daughter. I’m only looking forward to the end result.
The print “Night Flowers” is wonderful! The whole theme of night picnic reminds me of “hanami” in Japan where everyone gathers under the cherry blossom trees when they’re in full bloom. I was lucky enough to be a part of it the first time I went to Japan to meet my husband’s family. It was truly magical! I hope to be one of the lucky people to own “Night Flowers”. I was thinking of having it framed for my daughter Claire’s room but I just might keep it for myself!

Good luck with the potty training! We just got #2 potty trained. She was very reluctant to be wearing underpants but once we really made up our minds that we were done with diapers, she fell in line. She has not had a single accident. (knock on wood!) With both of our kids, we just had to decide to do it and tell them that was the end of diapers. It took a few dys with our son and she did it pretty quickly. The pull up thing didnt work for us. At any rate, you will love it when it happens! Hang in there!

They’re soooo very gorgeous! If I had a little girl I would plaster her room in them! They capture such a feeling of whimsy, with enough of a mysterious underlying darkness to make them entirely captivating. You should totally write a story about them, and turn it all into a children’s book.
Congratulations on your show and prints gallery. Your toys sitting in the window make me want to jump on a plane and go to Melbourne right away so I can see them in person. They are the best!

Oh! Your work is extraordinary Claire! How does one go about purchasing one of your prints? (if they haven’t been snatched up by luckier people already) I saw the prices but am not sure where to purchase… perhaps I missed it. Beautiful work. These would be a fabulous addition to my daughters room!

Eenie Meenie Minie Mo. Good gracious they are breathtaking. I just informed my husband that I found something that I want for my birthday (in October) and I want it NOW. And good luck with the potty training. We’re going through that now as well. =)
yes! drew barrymore had a great voice in olive the other reindeer, such a great book/movie too.
max (my three year old) and i were going through that very same book not too long ago too, its so sweet and reminds me of when i read them too.
and…today is day three of official potty training at our house. he’s been doing awesome with a single skittle everytime he goes. i’m crossing my fingers for you! i can’t wait to complete this milestone~it’s not easy!

My favourite is Night Flowers, but with two girls, how do I choose who gets it in their room ??? I eagerly await your next series. And would love to get to Balaclava to go in and have a look – am working on it. Cheers.
My favorite is “Lantern Babies” because it reminds me of my two brown haired, brown eyed children, although I also love “Thermos.” I hope I can get my hands on one of them before they sell out. You do such wonderful work!

I have finished potty training my son..after every bribe in the world, the one thing that always works is me jumping around saying “Im so proud of you..”. Now he says to my husband..”I need to go to the toilet so Mum is proud of me..” And that doesnt cost anything!!!!
