I woke up to find this delightful recommendation in my inbox. Firstly, I love it because it’s hard not to find it cheerful on this otherwise grey, grey day… I also love it because it led me to the work of Katy Wang, illustrator and animation director, which led me to all sorts of joys on her website.  And finally, I love it because it comes from my dear friend and former studio-mate Claire H who now lives in Cornwall and who I miss every day.

Katy Wang also made this animation for Alain de Botton’s School of Life about the Dangers of Duty, which reminds us to seek out the work we are passionate about.
