Christmas Eve is here – our lights are twinkling on the tree in the twilight and Amelia went straight to sleep knowing that Father Christmas wouldn’t stand for anything less.
Bliss.

As I write the leaden days of Seattle are, thankfully, short. There is never enough light in the day to do all things I want to do. As it approached I looked forward to the Winter Solstice-a harbinger of Christmas Day and its stewardship of longer days and Heavenly Light.
Every decision we make is a choice between a grievance and a miracle. Christmas is the season of Light and miracle. For several years now I have been blessed to have your light shine for me. On dark days you, however close or distant, enlightened my heart and guided me toward the miracles.
I hope the season and the coming year continue to fill your heart with light and its transformative power and healing grace makes glorious room for the boundless love you share so graciously.

Hi there!! I see this “month of softies” all over the blogosphere…and I can’t figure out exactly what it is!! I can see that it has to do something with little cute hand made characters…but that’s all i can really figure out…can you tell me what this is exactly??
