On my bedside table. Isn’t this a beautiful study in similarities and contrasts?
(please ignore the dirty kitchen floor – but extra points if you can spot the red mini pom pom).

i gotta say, i didn’t even notice the state of the floor until you mentioned it. because mine is in a similar state. always.
Never mind your floors. I have marks on my cupboard doors that bare strong resemblence to cat paw prints and dark stains on the kitchen floor that I can only imagine to be smeared acrylinc paint dripped from my art palette.
Speaking of cat paw prints, paint and kitchen floors – my mum has several green paw prints on her kitchen floor from our now long dead cat from c.1990. When I was still living at home, I had some oil paintings lying on the floor to dry under a chair out of the way and he walked across them and then across the floor. They are still there and because we all miss the horrible Edward, I am sure they always will be.
Let’s not speak of floors, suffice to say the two year old is constantly ripping off the nappy.Happy reading.PS hope you are feeling much better.
A very pregnant me read Candy Girl a few months ago when I thought I’d rip my eyes out if I had to read one more book about pregnancy and delivery.I thought it was a mind-numbingly pleasant read. Diablo Cody has an awesome way around the English language!
I’ve just put a request in at work (public library)for the purchase of “Cherry cakes and ginger beer” Jane Brocket’s new one. From the publicity it seems to be she and her daughter revisiting classic childrens’ books like Milly Molly Mandy and the Famous Five and making the recipes/meals from those books!
Jane’s book is great. I’ve just bought Cherry cake and Ginger beer which is just delightful.As for the mini red pompom, its amazing where crafting accessories turn up.
I love Diabo Cody! Haven’t read this book yet, but I plan on it at some point. It is an interesting study in contrasts this picture – but oddly enough it overlaps many of my interests as well.
I have heard so much about this book, it’s just finding the time to read. Found the pompom, you are lucky it’s only a pom pom. My floor photo would probably have a pin. i am forever finding them and so is my son, oops!!
