Hudson Clothes Show 2006
Tomorrow is the opening of our show at Hudson! Here are the details:

Show starts on Monday 27th February 2006 and runs through the month of March.
It’s an exhibition of toys and prints and acrylics on canvas. Each of us are presenting some 2D work as well as a selection of our soft toys or dolls. Here you can see my first attempts at something other than digital art. It’s been freaking me out!

At this stage my pieces will not be available online, but through Hudson. If you are interested in purchasing a piece, please email me* as soon as you can and I will place you on a waiting list (per item) just in case something doesn’t sell in March – first come, first option to buy.

It all looks amazing Claire – I love the softies and the paintings are just gorgeous. I moved my canvases and acrilycs into the new studio / workroom at the back of the new shop today and once the panic and chaos that is opening day next Saturday is behind me I’m inspired to pick up the brushes again.
Sooo lovely, I’ll definitely be along to peek!

Everything was gorgeous – you were right about the light not doing the pictures justice. I think a congrats is in order for your first attempt with acrylic paints they really do look wonderful. I moved heaven and earth to be there at 11 this morning to buy Creepy but was pipped at the post by a lucky phone caller. With 3 pieces already to my name I guess it is only fair to share the joy around :o)Good luck and take it easy now – I’m sure you need a little R&R!!!
We trudged down Carlisle street with kids tagging along just to check it out! Glad I crossed the river ato see lovely little softie faces smiling out the front window- Well done on your hard work I am now suitably jealous!
Darn… I had a slow day at work today – I should’ve dropped in. Hope there’s still something to see on Wednesday!

Wow!! LoVE IT… fantastic, all of it !!!What a shame I am going to Melbourne next month for a 2 week holiday, if only I was there this month to see it all for real…at least I can see it here, thank god for the internet.
