Sketch books packed, a bag of croissants picked up on the way. The gardens were absolutely busting with people this morning but we still managed to find a few quiet spots and the odd secret, jungley spot, and there was even a good coffee for the olds.
What an inspiring family day. It looks like bliss.
That sounds like the perfect Sunday morning! It was positively warm on the run.
Such a lovely picture of the girls drawing together! Sound like a fun morning.
Lovely photos! It was a beautiful Autumn day in Sydney too, perfect for throwing yellow and red leaves around (wish we’d thought to take croissants though….)
looks like a perfect autumn day.
i love the botanic gardens, especially in autumn, and the children’s garden is fabulous. what a great idea to take sketchbooks and brekkie.
They are so adorable!
Wow! I can’t believe how big your kids are now!Looks like a great way to spend a Sunday. Couldn’t be more perfect. 🙂
I used to read your blog religiously years ago and then you took a long break after your little one was born. After I had my baby, if I had a stack of laundry and no motivation, I’d think about the picture that you posted with the baby on top of the big pile of laundry 🙂 I’m so happy to see your blog again!!! I can’t even tell you – I’ve missed your creativity!!!
So glad I bounced over to your blog — so inspiring!I love the fact that your girls bring their sketchbooks to the botanical gardens. What an exceptional way to spend a spring morning!
oh my claire! everyone is so grown up! (my own included)time flies!
