Origami for the enthusiastic

I just received my Dover Design Sampler email and listed in the new releases is a book called Famous Aircraft in Origami. Making a paper crane is absolutely my limit, but for those who like a (massive) challenge this might be something you’d be interested in. All I can say is “Holy Moley!”. I can just imagine the teeth-clenching, limb-shaking frustration I would feel if I even started one of these babies. The sample plane provided has 25 intense instructions, including this little manoeuvre below:

    My son would love the results of that book, but I would not like making the results. That book can stay in the bookshop!

    I am so crap at origami. I bought a book, supposedly a good one, with patterns for children – couldn’t even manage that!

    I bought “Dinogami” for my husband at Christmas. I don’t think it helped him to relax. At all.
