Minza and Hilary are dollmaking heroes

We are back out house hunting again tomorrow. Special-k is coming over to baby sit Amelia which will make it so much easier as most of the open inspections seem to be right smack-bang during her lunch and sleep time. Special-K is planning a patty cake baking session while we are gone. I look forward to eating odd tasting toddler-made goodies and cleaning up a flour covered kitchen upon our return.
While I am procrastinating and knitting and not launching into making doll prototype #2 I am admiring some beautiful things around the place including Hilary’s fabulous Gertie and Minza’s seriously cute and spooky dolls (via Christina) in her newest gallery. I am inspired and struck still with envy all at the same time.

  1. Those dolls are very nice, but yours are very nice too! Make some to sell – I want one!

  2. Dito – to the feeling of “inspired and struck with envy” both at your site/dolls and at theirs! 🙂
But a house-hunt of course take a lot of time.

    Good luck!

  3. So cute!
Good luck on the house hunting. We have been doing the same, and it’s been over a year! I hope that you will have better luck than we have. 🙂

  4. Awww nuts. I was looking forward to seeing your fiesta friday illo.
Good luck with house hunting! I hope all goes well. 🙂

  5. Their dolls are cute, but I like yours better – especially Humphrey Begs. I was curious enough about “Gertie” to check out “Wee Wonderfuls”, but quickly left after reading her obscene language and violent threats against people who disagree with her politically. I Certainly wouldn’t send any children her way. I much prefer the gentle nature and humor of your site. Keep up the good work!
