How ironic … my brother and I were just reminiscing on Sunday night about our many Northern Exposure-athons! We live in Vancouver (that’s Canada) and it’s only about a 3 1/2 hour drive down through a beautiful mountain range to get to Roslyn, Washington – i.e. Cicely, Alaska. We must have made the trek a least 1/2 a dozen times and John Corbett (Chris) was always the greatest guy to my little brother and his friends. Talking to them for hours between takes, showing them the sets and getting them behind the scenes while filming. Even sent them a postcard when he was on the road.
Makes you wonder how Carrie (Sex and the City) could possibly cheat on him with Big!!

  3. You have got to be kidding me! I had no idea! That show got me through my awkward teen years. Praise the Lord it’s finally out!

Hi, Just to let you know, I saw it for sale in dvd shop at the local mall last night – so don’t order it in US dollars!

I received the same email and was giddy! :o)

  9. Woo-hoo! Can’t wait!! One of the best shows ever. I hope it’s still as good as when I was a teenager. Don’t want to shatter any mems. Loved Adam, Fleishman, and that woman who hardly ever said anything – you know, Fleishman’s secretary? What was her name?

  10. She was called Marilyn! Great characters.

  11. I was excited as well until I saw the US$42 price tag for just 8 episodes. That’s not just exorbitant. That’s highway robbery.
I suppose I’ll have to wait until they come around and start selling these things at a reasonable price. *sigh*

  12. N.E. has to be one of the best shows EVER! I’ll be sure to look it up soon. I especially enjoyed the catapult episode where they flung the piano… 🙂
