Errrm.. (faltering start)
Hooray! It's up again. I was kind of enjoying
the web free existence but I just can't help myself. Plus
there was that pact I made with daniel
that we would both have our sites up and going by last weekend...And
now that Big Brother is over and I have nothing to do again,
I may as well get back into the looby-loop.
So big brother huh? I actually only started
watching it last weekend, thanks to a quick trip Special-K
and I made up to Sydney where we stayed with Lil' Bro and
Loverly K --- and despite all acts of resistance...
...I got totally hooked. Came back to Melbourne
and Phil thought I was completely mad, but humoured me every
night at 7pm...
... until he too was sharing my concerns
about the likelihood of the contestants having a brain meltdown
when confronted by thousands of screaming fans upon coming
out of the house after three months of insular living. We
had dinner at Mum and Dad's one night last week and made them
watch it too. I don't think they quite understood what all
the fuss was about as we lingered on Blair, Ben and Sara-Marie's
attempts to get the windshield-wiper going on one of the outdoor
cameras...
...but a mere four days later all four
of us gathered around and got all teary-eyed, glad that the
big guy won.
If you weren't one of the 4 million Australian
viewers on Monday night, then I have to say you were either
geographically disadvantaged or out seeing Naomi Klein speak
(but you probably taped it to watch later anyway, right?)
or you have much moral strength and I congratulate you on
your impressively non-addictive personality. Me? I loved every
second of my last week's viewing and I can't wait for series
