Last night, while we were around visiting
Small, Kent and the little baby (now to be known as Tiny-Small),
Special-K gave me a photo that she took of me holding Tiny-Small
last Friday night. It's not the best picture in the world...
you can see a lot of the back of my head and some of my chin
(the double bit unfortunately!) and a little bit of Tiny-Small's
head poking out of his swaddling but it's my favourite photo
- because there I am holding a two hour old baby who is the
most amazing thing in the world. We have been waiting for
this little creature since the end of last spring and here
he is... Big eyes, stretching fingers, long legs kicking,
a thousand mini expressions per minute as he experiences cold,
hot, hunger, wind, skin, noise, taste and wide open space.
We wonder what kind of person he will be and bless him with
good thoughts and well wishes. link
