Ahhh - long weekend here we
come. We have plans aplenty but wide spaces of nothingness
which makes for the best kind of long weekend.
Tonight Big-P and I are dashing
into the city laden with bouquets to visit Cookie Monster
and Lala who rang last night at 10.30 to tell us that they
have had a baby girl. Welcome to the world little A!
Tomorrow we are taking the
"long" trip out to Anniebeans and Ll'amo's for lunch
with them and their kids in a municipal building cafe which
doesn't sound very glamorous but trust me, its surprisingly
funky and the home made crumpets are incredible.
Tomorrow night I will have
to cook something wholesome and then settle in to watch the
Gilmore Girls. I can't help but be hooked even though that
Loralie Gilmore is one of the most annoying women on television.
I like Lane. She would be my best friend if I lived in Stars
Hollow.
Sunday we are having breakfast
with Van, Dizzy and T... and Sunday night its out to my folks
for roast dinner.
Monday? Nothing yet! A sleep
in, a walk along the river, maybe some painting, maybe some
baking. I'm sure there will be lying on the couch and reading
good books squeezed in there too.
