Guess what? I’m still in bed and it’s almost noon. I’ve had two cups of tea, sweet French toast dusted with icing sugar and a cup of coffee. Can we have Mother’s Day every Sunday please?!

I woke up to a big cuddle from my 18 month old and a gorgeous card with crayon drawings!!!
Some days you realise just how lucky you are to have what you have and live where you do!!! Good Luck to you for the next few weeks and a great Birth Day for your little one

That is EXACTLY what happened this morning, followed by hours together working in the yard and hanging up the hammock for the summer!Oh…and laundry and dishes and tired, cranky, arguing kids. A TRUE mother’s day.
A happy mother’s day to you as well!

Happy mother’s day to you too!
How exciting to hear that you have less than 4 weeks to go. I understand your anxiety about the birth and wish you courage and strength. Thinking of you and your family.

    Belatedly, happy Mother’s Day, Claire.
I did indeed enjoy the tea-sipping start to the day you described, along with jammy toast made by Alia (2 years 9 months and super-dooper proud of herself 🙂

Enjoy the next few weeks with Amelia – everything changes when no. 2 is born. In a good waty, mostly – but it is another country, parenting two.
