All is calm

Christmas Eve is here – our lights are twinkling on the tree in the twilight and Amelia went straight to sleep knowing that Father Christmas wouldn’t stand for anything less.

Have a wonderful and peaceful Christmas. May all your parcels be good ones, and all your puddings full of the good stuff.

I’ll be back soon!

As I write the leaden days of Seattle are, thankfully, short. There is never enough light in the day to do all things I want to do. As it approached I looked forward to the Winter Solstice-a harbinger of Christmas Day and its stewardship of longer days and Heavenly Light.

Every decision we make is a choice between a grievance and a miracle. Christmas is the season of Light and miracle. For several years now I have been blessed to have your light shine for me. On dark days you, however close or distant, enlightened my heart and guided me toward the miracles.

I hope the season and the coming year continue to fill your heart with light and its transformative power and healing grace makes glorious room for the boundless love you share so graciously.

    Congratulations on baby-two.

    Cheers and grace,

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Claire! Enjoy the peacefulness and Amelia’s wonder and excitement! Hope you get lots of wonderful treats, too!

I am absolutely in love with your beautiful site. Thank you for gifting me with creative inspiration each time I visit. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.

Same to you Claire… I look forward to reading your musings in the new year and to seeing whatever creative endeavours you might explore. Bright Blessings…

Hi there!! I see this “month of softies” all over the blogosphere…and I can’t figure out exactly what it is!! I can see that it has to do something with little cute hand made characters…but that’s all i can really figure out…can you tell me what this is exactly?? BTW—I LOVE your site…it is awesome and your illustrations are truely enjoyable.
