Something-or-other

I have just found out that my print gocco should be arriving some time this week and I am so excited I fear my head may explode!
Suzette and I have our first “Evie-along” get together tonight so I have to rush off and knit up a swatch, but before I do I wanted to mention that there is a really basic doll pattern and some cute interpretations in the latest Martha Stewart Kids (Fall 2004). I found the ideas for hair using yarn quite useful.

Leslie sent me a link last for these lovely hand woven dolls made by Burmese refugee women in camps on the Thailand-Burma border. Beautiful, and a good cause – thanks Leslie.

And lastly – Christina’s gorgeous Bad Fairy is for sale – it may have already gone!

Your illustrations would look amazing done by the print gocco, though I’d never heard of it before you mentioned it. What the entry level cost like to buy one? I’d love to do some prints on it myself.

    Hi Claire,
Thanks for the plug! : )

I think you’ll like it. I got mine about a month ago, and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it.
You may want to get some of the ink cleaner, though. (A bit of free advice from a woman who spent a couple of days waving her green hands at people.)

Oh! I just did my first print gocco print last night. It was ridiculously easy and fun. I am now obsessed.
When you’re up and running, let’s do a trade!
